In the Dark

One of my Brothers said to me the other evening, I know Jesus is coming back soon. It scares me everytime I think of it. Can you be ready when Jesus comes? Yes. Can you know what is going to happen in the coming days? Yes. Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved. To call upon him, You must believe that he is(exists) and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him. What does that mean? Repent(To turn away from your sins) To accept what Jesus has done for you.He took your sin so that you could be saved from what is going to happen in this world. Accept what Jesus did for you, He died and rose for you.
My brother said What if I backslide,what if I can't do everything right? I said you most certainly cannot do everything right. You just have to know that Jesus did do everything right and trust him. If you open your heart to him(Jesus) he will work in you through the Holy Spirit.
It is so sad that many won't know what is to come in this world till it overtakes them. All one has to do is read God's word and ask him to help you understand.
