Rewarded of God Or Man?

I missed an opportunity today.
I was in a little shop and I was getting ready to pay for my things.
The Holy Spirit urged me to pay for this little lady's stuff who was next in line.
She only had one shirt and one bottle of body spray. So I did pay for her stuff but, when the little lady said Oh' no let me pay you, I knew right then that I should say God Loves You.
But no I went on out the door so she couldn't try to repay me. I got in the car and the first thought was well, The clerk thought that you were a really nice person so...... You got your reward.
We are to seek God in all things not try to please man or, think more highly of ourselves.
Paul said that if we seek to please man then we won't please God.
