Do you trust in God’s abilities rather than your own abilities? Are we hoping everything will be alright, Are we wishing for everything to work out in our lives?
FAITH is...........the trust in God and in His promises as made through Christ and the Scriptures by which humans are justified or saved.
Or are we trusting, believing, and receiving what God has already provided for us in Christ Jesus?
Do we even know what God has provided for us through Jesus' Death, Burial and Resurrection?
How can we know what God has already done and given to us as Born again believers?
It is all in His Word.
Do we read God's word?
2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect (fully committed) toward him.”
Faith; Trusting in His (GOD"S) ability is setting out to do something that you have no possible way of succeeding in unless God intervenes (and you better be sure that it’s His will before you set out). What is God's Will?
God's will is in his WORD.
2 Peter 3/9: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Does God's Will Automatically come to Pass? The answer is NO.
Many people say OK.... Since Jesus took all of our sins to the cross, died ,was buried and, God raised him up from the dead then, I'm automatically Saved right? Wrong.
You have a responsibility to choose. You have a free will. You are not a robot that God made.
We have heard people say ,Well if Jesus took a beating for our healing ....Then why aren't all people healed?
If jesus paid for our healing then why aren't all people healed? It does not automactially happen......Even though in Jesus God has already given us everything pertaining(that We Need) for life and godliness.
Like natural laws of the land there are also spiritual laws of the land.
We reap what we sow.
We cannot have the blessings of God if we do not belong to God.
Yes God made us all and he Loves us all but... that doesn't mean that we all belong to God.
Jesus said that he knew his sheep(children) and his sheep will not follow another (Shephard).
Just saying ....that you believe in God does not made us Christians.(even satan and his demons believe and tremble).
Going to Church does not mean that you are saved .
Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
Jesus paid for our sins to be forgiven over 2000 years ago.....Yet many are dying everyday and going to hell. Why because YOU have a part to play. You must believe and recieve what Jesus died for us to have.........Salvation , Peace with God, Healing, Deliverance, Prosperity.........
HEBREWS 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hebrews 11/6 without faith it is impossible to please God
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him(GOD): for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a reward er of them that diligently seek him.
James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
1:8 A double minded (doubting, unbelieving) man is unstable in all his ways.
