Many people foolishly think that God can be put out of our schools, workplaces, government, our country, or that he can be ignored.
God says.
Rev.1/8: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
God will not be eliminated.
Psalms 2/1: Why do the heathen(unbelievers) rage, and the people imagine a vain (evil)thing?
2: The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed(believers), saying,
3: Let us break their bands(unity) asunder, and cast away their cords(voices) from us.
4: He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision(an object of ridicule or scorn).
Many people think that if in offence that they can silence the Christian.
Telling us that we cannot speak about God or say that Jesus is coming soon.
We cannot say Merry Christmas because Many are offended at the name of God
and the name of Jesus.
Like the man that got fired for wearing a button that said One Nation Under God at Home Depot.
Or the offense taken because Hobby Lobby advertised In God We Trust.
I AN OFFENDED THAT THEY ARE OFFENDED. I will not be silent. Equal rights should be if you they can voice their offence ...so will I
Our Creator God will not be put up in a box somewhere so that people will not have to deal with him.
Each person alive and dead is going to stand before God.
Many people say there is no wrong or right, Many people think that if they can get others to agree with them that saying that there is no God then it must be true. Wrong.
Psalms 14/1: The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
By going against the word of God, disobeying God, or denying the truth of God we commit sin.
We either have faith in what God says and who God is, or we don't have faith, which is sin.
We are responsible for our own sin
We are responsible for our sin. I am responsible for my sin. You are responsible for your sin. We are all responsible for our own sin.
Unbelief is a choice.
Unbelief and faith are both a choice.
If you die without faith in God to salvation, then you choose eternal separation from God.
Unbelief in God to salvation separates anyone from entering into everlasting life into the Kingdom of God.
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Hebrews 3:12
No one is responsible for our sin, but ourselves because we choose to commit sin.
The ten commandments teach us that:
Sin is having any other gods, because there is only One True God.
Idolatry is sin. Having, making, owning, or using idols is sin.
Blasphemy of God is sin. It is sin to take any of God's names in vain
Not to remember God's Sabbath day is sin.
Not honoring all our parents is sin.
Killing, murder, or hating anyone is sin.
Adultery is sin. Lust in the heart is sin.
Stealing is sin.
Lying is sin.
Coveting is sin. Desiring that of another is sin.
Not obeying any of the commandments of God is sin.
Jesus Fulfilled the law of God, He fulfilled the commandments.
Luke 10/26: Jesus said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27: And he(a certain lawyer) answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and (Love)thy neighbour as thyself.
28: And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
He said that these were the 2 greatest commandments.
Jesus knew that if we kept only these two commandments that we would not break the others.
God gives each of us a choice or free will to choose either to
abide in Him and to accept His gift of salvation or to reject him and live eternally apart from him. What is God's gift of Salvation? His name is Jesus. Jn.14/6
Jn.3/36: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Acts 4/12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Jesus made a way for us to escape the law of sin and death, by His shed blood on His cross, through His death and by His resurrection into new life, we too by believing on Him and the works that He did on His cross for us, we can receive the gift of life, eternal salvation.
Our eternity begins at birth. The moment we were conceived we began our eternal lives. According to the Bible, we have a beginning, but we do not have an end. Our end on this Earth is only the beginning of where we will live forever.
Even though people aren’t sure about what happens they die, Not many of them actually take the steps necessary to find out what they need to know. Everyone wants to end up in heaven, or something like it, but they don’t know what they have to do to make sure that they get there.
They don’t know that they need to make a decision, or
they think they don’t have the power to make the decision, or
they think that someone else will make it for them, or
they believe the people who tell them that it doesn’t exist, or
that they will come back reincarnated as something else, or
that they will just go to sleep and never know anything after that
so they don’t have to worry about it, many put it off saying
"I'm just not ready" or, "I don't want to talk or think about it."
How about you? Do you know what you need to do to make sure you get to heaven? There seem to be a lot of alternatives, don’t there?
We all have to take our blinders off and find out what actually happens when we die. We need to find out what really matters and make any adjustments if necessary. To find the answer, let’s turn to a book that specializes in this topic – The Bible! It’s been around a long time and deals with all of this kind of stuff that we all try to avoid!
TWO PLACES DESIGNED FOR ETERNAL LIVING
When we read through the Bible, we find that our life as we know it now is only temporary. Once we leave here, once we ‘die,’ we go to one of the two places designed for eternal living. Like a move – we go from here to there. Either we will go to a place called Heaven or a place called Hell. This is not a fairy tale. This is not a story. This is a fact found in the Bible.
“…man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” Hebrews 9:27
Our eternity will be spent either in Heaven or Hell. When we look further, we find out that the time that we are alive on this Earth, Right now, is the only time we have to determine the Heaven or Hell part. Jesus Said.... Today is the day of Salvation. It is crucial for all of us to make our preparations for eternity now since there is no way out once we leave this phase. We cannot be ignorant about this or leave this up to chance.
WE HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER
The amazing thing about this is that we actually have a choice in this matter! Yes, we can choose where we want to spend eternity. Imagine! Being able to CHOOSE between Heaven and Hell! The choice is made by each one of us. It is not made by anyone else or left up to chance.
DEFAULT IS SET AT ‘HELL’
Of course, there is a default setting if we don’t make our choice. Just like on our computers, if we don’t change a particular setting, it goes to the default setting. The bad new is that the default setting for our eternal existence is set at ‘Hell.’ If we don’t do anything to change that setting, that is where we’ll go.
Hell is mentioned in scripture 57 times...It is a very real place...... just as real as God is, his son Jesus and just as real as Heaven.
