God Gives


For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

GOD GIVES…

LOVE
In this was manifested the love of God toward us; that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9

REST
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

FORGIVENESS
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

ETERNAL LIFE
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

SECURITY
I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5

PEACE
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

POWER
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

REWARD
And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Revelation 22:12

HIMSELF
I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. Jeremiah 24:7
All of these gifts come to us through Jesus Christ who is the great gift of God to humankind.
To receive these marvelous gifts, the Bible tells us that we must:
1. Ask God to forgive our sins.
2. Ask Jesus to come into our hearts.
3. Believe on Jesus as our personal Savior.
4. Resolve to make Jesus our Lord by living a life of loving obedience to him.
